Expressive Stitch Samplers with Cas Holmes workshop - Monday 22nd February

Spend an afternoon with textile artist and writer Cas Holmes. Drawing on her practice and the Japanese philosophy of Mottainai - the idea that no scrap of cloth is too small to be valued - learn to create textural marks informed by the ideas used in Japanese Boro and Sashiko and Indian Kantha stitch, as a means to repair clothing and cloth. By the end of the session you will have a stitch sampler in progress for you to complete at home.

If one of our teachers has to cancel a lesson then we will try to organise another time. If you can’t make that class then we will send you a full refund. 

We require at least 10 days notice if you would like to change or cancel your workshop. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to send someone else in your place, but please let us know as early as possible.
