What do you buy the person that has everything?

What do you buy the person that has everything?

I’ve been in retail for 27 years, and the most frequent, enduring customer question has to be; what should I buy for someone who has everything? We've all been there, choosing a gift for someone that says that they don't 'need' anything, someone that is deliberately de-cluttering or someone that is able to treat themselves at any time. People often say that I am a tricky person to buy for, because I already own a shop full of beautiful things, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate a gift!

My response would always be to choose something useable. A person might have all the cushions, ceramics and jewels that they could ever need, but things like soaps, candles, bath products and diffusers are things that can be replaced and refreshed.

A go-to treat if you are looking for a token gift are our beautiful handmade Clovelly Soaps. All natural, kind the planet and your skin, you can choose from over ten delicious scents with 50g bars at just £2.50 or 100g for £5. Rosemary & Orange is a favourite of mine. Gently exfoliating, it is a great one for hardworking hands, and the scent reminds me of warm summer evenings in the garden.

Rich, earthy notes, a floral finish and a luxurious lather make Lavender, Frankincense & Patchouli our newest bestseller. If you are looking for something lighter, Lemon & May Chang provides a fresh, uplifting and zesty fragrance, with the exfoliating benefits of poppy seeds in each bar.

Luxurious bath treats by Bramley Products are always well received! Made with pure essential oils and all vegan ingredients, they are paraben and SLS free and smell incredible. The best way to gift the delights of Bramley is the starter set, containing five 50ml bottles of product, body wash, bubble bath, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion.

Each bottle is made from sugar cane and is recyclable, or even better, the bottles can be brought into the shop and we can refill them. I also love gifting the Bramley sleep spray; fragranced with restful lavender, chamomile and yarrow, it smells beautiful and is a thoughtful present for someone struggling to drift off.

Our own range of soy wax candles are a lovely gift at £10 each. They burn perfectly, with all the wax melting away and don't leave behind those nasty soot marks on walls and ceilings! Lime Basil & Mandarin is a clean, invigorating choice of fragrance, a classic and popular with all ages and genders. Amber & Tonka Bean is a new bestseller. Woody with a touch of sweetness, tonka is a relative of the vanilla bean, warm and rich but not overpowering.

Rose geranium scented candle - natural plant wax

Rose Geranium is a classic floral delight. Perfect for sitting rooms and bedrooms, it is said to be a great fragrance for embracing feminine power, which I am all for!

Last but not least is our fabulous range of handmade chocolates. We've sold the chocolate 'five a day' set for allotment owners, and for people that don't like real vegetables.

The 'hundreds & thousands of hugs' set has been ordered from our website, to be sent from one end of the country to the other, and the croissant breakfast set has been given as a welcome home gift for someone returning from France. I am a big fan of the 'pigs in blankets' chocolate set too!

Add to this that we gift wrap for free, and can include a handwritten card in with your order, and you can rest assured; we've got you covered for perfect presents for tricky people!
