In the Gap between Walls is an acrylic, gouache and pen work by Ami Rathmill, featuring exquisitely detailed ivy leaves on a richly painted background. The framed piece measures 25cm x 25cm.

Ami is a local artist living in Canterbury, Exhibiting her work here for the first time since studying Fine Art in 2006, she has continued to keep in touch with her creative side both in her role as a mother and in her professional life. Drawing has always been her safe space, somewhere to both get lost and feel at home. Ami enjoys layering chaos with finer details, and although she starts each piece with a plan, her process is very organic.
