Papercut Plants workshop with Louise Pettifer - Sunday 2nd June
Sunday 2nd June - 10am-12.30pm at our shop on Cranbrook High Street £30 per person - price includes all materials, tea and coffee and nibbles and some exclusive discount vouchers.
Eight places available.
In this class, participants will use fresh flowers as inspiration, to produce a collage using papercutting and other techniques. You will make a few simple line drawings using a set of guided exercises, (these have a focus on relaxation and are fun; you don’t need any drawing experience.) You will paint papers with colours inspired by the flowers we are studying.
All materials will be provided but if you have your own scissors and /or craft knife and you prefer to use familiar tools, then please do bring them along. Suitable for all abilities, over the age of 14.
Louise Pettifer is an artist inspired and uplifted by the gardens, countryside and coast of Kent and East Sussex. Her work is created using a combination of printmaking, painting and intricate cut paper collage. If one of our teachers has to cancel a lesson then we will try to organise another time. If you can’t make that class then we will send you a full refund.
We require at least 10 days notice if you would like to change or cancel your workshop. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to send someone else in your place, but please let us know as early as possible.
