Extreme Stitching workshop with Cas Holmes - Sunday 8th March
Sunday 8th March - 12-4pm at our shop on Cranbrook High Street with Cas Holmes. £45 per person - price includes some materials, tea, coffee and nibbles. You will also receive an exclusive Happy & Glorious voucher to be used in the shop on the day.
Create a small textile landscape with artist and writer Cas Holmes. This workshop explores the character and qualities of cloth and found materials for hand stitching. The embroidery stitches that Cas applies to her work have been described as ‘Extreme Stitching’ and provides textural interest to her small landscape cloth studies as featured in her most recent book Textile Landscape.
This workshop has only eight spaces and will sell out quickly!
Trained in fine art and with a love of natural world, Cas uses found materials and textiles in her work, fascinated by their prior history and the hands that once held them.
If one of our teachers has to cancel a lesson then we will try to organise another time. If you can’t make that class then we will send you a full refund.
We require at least 10 days notice if you would like to change or cancel your workshop. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to send someone else in your place, but please let us know as early as possible.
